Research news:
2014
- Christoph Grunau took part in a popular daily French radio show (La Tête au Carré on FranceInter by Mathieu Vidard). Download the podcast
- We wrote two pages on epigenetics in the local university newspaper. David Roquis won the first price at the "Doctorials" with his talk.
- We have used our expertise different techniques combined with massive sequencing analysis (ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, gDNA-Seq, genome & transcriptome assembly) to study a number of questions such as:

2013
- Cécile Perrin (now back in Down-under), Céline Cosseau et al. find the first example of an epigenetically controled adaptive trait in schistosomes (and adds another exemple to the few so far described in the literature). Read more in Plos Path and on the CNRS website.
- We participated in the RNA-Seq data analysis of corals exposed to pH stress. More...
- Julie Lepesant et al. show that exposure of Schistosoma mansoni to an alloptric snail host leads to a drastic change in sex ratio of the cercaria (up to 80% female biased). Read more...
- Meet us at the
- Congress of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology, Aug. 19-24, 2013 in Lisbon.
- JOBIM 2013, Jul. 1-4, 2013 in Toulouse.

Julie LEPESANT et al. finds that chromatin structure around repetitive sequences that are unique to the
S. mansoni W-chromosome (WZ = female) changes during the life cycle of the parasite. Some of the
repeats are expressed in the larvae stages. More...
-
David ROQUIS et al. used data from next-generation sequencing to discover most (all?) repetitive sequences
in the S. mansoni genome. Download the fasta file here. Read more...
- We joined the Darwinian Evolution in Cancer
consortium.
